Elizabeth Diaz

Elizabeth Diaz is a J.D. candidate at the University of North Texas College of Law and a licensed U.S. Customs Broker since April 2022. Ms. Diaz brings several years of experience in the customs brokerage industry, where she prepared and audited import entries, ensured compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, and performed detailed classifications under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. She also reviewed NAFTA documentation and supported clients in maintaining compliance with international trade laws. Ms. Diaz assists attorneys at the firm with international trade research including reviews of U.S. Customs laws and regulations as well as export controls and economic sanctions.
In her free time, Ms. Diaz loves spending time with her dogs—Nina, Mila, Lola, and Lucy—who keep her on her toes and bring constant joy to her day. She enjoys discovering new restaurants across Dallas and beyond, immersing herself in local flavors and hidden culinary gems. A passionate traveler, she seeks out new experiences and cultures whenever possible. She also enjoys escaping the real world by listening to audiobooks while she commutes to school and work and while walking her fur babies. She is also the founder and president of Eli’s Snacks and Drinks. This nonprofit scholarship initiative has awarded over $20,000 in educational support to employees and their family members through vending machine revenue.

J.D. candidate at the University of North Texas College of Law (2026). Ms. Diaz earned her MBA in Marketing and Strategy & Entrepreneurship, her Master of Science in Management, and her BBA in General Management from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
