About

William “Billy” Klaess believes there is always room for improvement, personally and professionally. He works tirelessly to deliver the best results for his clients and conducts diligent corporate investigations, aggressively tackling problems and providing innovative solutions.

Mr. Klaess was part of the legal team working in one of the largest corporate compliance monitorships in U.S. history as part of Department of Justice, Bureau of Industry and Security (“BIS”), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) settlement agreements. Before joining Torres Trade Law, Mr. Klaess was an attorney at a commercial litigation firm in Dallas, Texas. In his free time, Mr. Klaess enjoys exercising, reading, and writing science fiction and fantasy, and going for walks with his wife and their two Yorkies.
