Nicole Breland Aandahl is a Washington-D.C. based attorney with more than 15 years of experience in export and import compliance, global trade, and foreign policy. Nicole has worked in both government and the U.S. defense industry. She served as a Foreign Affairs Specialist in the Departments of Energy and Defense, focusing on export control and no-proliferation policy. She later joined Raytheon Company as a Senior Advisor on Export Compliance, moving on to serve in senior compliance and legal roles with Airbus, Qinetiq North America, and Draper. Nicole most recently served as Global Trade Counsel at Raytheon’s Washington headquarters.
Nicole received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh (Order of the Barristers), an M.P.H. from the George Washington University, and a B.A. from Howard University.
She is a Member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Board of Visitors, a National Security Fellow with the Syracuse University Maxwell School, and on the Women in International Security’s Honor Roll.
Nicole is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
