Jonathan Creek

Jonathan Creek assists clients with a broad range of international trade regulatory matters including export controls governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), economic sanctions, U.S. customs laws and regulations, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He advises clients on a variety of compliance matters including compliance procedures, voluntary disclosures to government agencies regulating trade, and corporate investigations. Mr. Creek attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was an editor for the International Law Review Association.

Prior to joining Torres Law, Mr. Creek worked in the area of consumer law for the Texas Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division where he focused on the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and other consumer protection statutes.

Education & Admissions

Mr. Creek received his J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his B.S. in psychology cum laude from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Mr. Creek is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
